Self Esteem and NLP
NLP self esteem techniques rely on the fact that the brain cannot distinguish something that is real and something that is vividly imagined. You can use this fact to your advantage and leverage it so you can gain more self esteem.
In order to use NLP to gain self esteem, start by thinking about someone who you admire that has a great deal of self esteem. Someone, who if you had their level of self esteem you would feel very confident.
Now in your mind, see that person in your mind acting in a way that has a great amount of self esteem and confidence.
Now replace that person with you, and become fully associated with all those feelings of great self esteem.
Now replay that movie in your mind several times, making it as vivid as possible. Try to feel how that person is feeling and seeing what that person is seeing.
Keep repeating this short clip in your mind, and each time you do try to feel even more self esteem and confidence.
You want to imagine it so vividly that you could swear that it is a real experience happening to you. Only when you make it so vivid that the experience will feel real to you.
Now, whenever you want to train yourself to have more self esteem with this NLP technique just replay it in your mind and become fully associated with it again.
The mind is just like a muscle, you have to repeat things several times for it to learn a new skill or habit.
