NLP and Jealousy

You can use NLP to overcome the emotion of jealousy. One way to do this is with anchoring. By anchoring situations or words that have made you feel jealous with a more positive emotion, you can suppress the negative feeling and eliminate it.
Using submodalities: For example if every time you saw your old boyfriend with his new girlfriend made you feel jealous, try to visualize them together in your mind, but this time take that picture and move if far away from your mind’s eye making it really small.
Now make that picture go from color to gray. Then in you minds eye try to make the picture as insignificant to you as possible. Now run this over in your mind a few times to condition it so that whenever you actually see your boyfriend and his new girlfriend that is no longer bothers you.
