Frank Kern’s NLP Techniques Revealed

Frank Kern has stated that he does not know NLP.  But if you follow his marketing techniques, the words that he uses and how he delivers them, he does use several NLP techniques whether he is aware of it or not.

Frank Kern is a well known internet marketer and has even helped motivational guru Tony Robbins increase internet sales.

Kern uses the persona of a lazy guy who loves to surf, who just happens to know how to do internet marketing, go figure.

He uses the lazy guy persona to relate to other internet marketers.  If they knew how hard he worked and how focused he was, they would not relate to him nearly as much.  This you could almost say is use of NLP mirroring.

He also has stated how he likes to “keep people off balance” in the buying process so they do not know what is coming next.  When people are unsure of what is next, they can be more easily influenced.

Recently Eben Pagan came out with a new product and in Frank’s discussion with him they talk about hypnosis and “frameworks.” Which is similar to NLP reframing.

Frank Kern is an excellent example of someone you should model if you want to advance in your internet marketing career or any marketing career.

His innovative use of marketing tactics is something everyone can learn from.  Also when you are consuming his marketing materials be aware of the persona he tries to adapt of a “lazy surf dude who just happens to know a little internet marketing.”

Contrast his persona with that of John Reese, another well known internet marketer.  John does not assume a persona, he is just himself.

Whatever you audience is, find out what the average person in your audience is like and try to start thinking like them.
